I told you the other day how I painted our french door. I also told you that I wasn't going to post a photo of it until I cleaned the window panes. But then I realized, that could be never.
So here it is, in all its charcoal glory:
I love the dimension it adds to the room, and I can almost hear it shouting above high pitched kid giggles, "take it outside, you guys are too loud!"...wait a sec. That was me.
The door is probably saying something like, "check me out! I look good!"
Well, no matter who's sayin' it, we all agree that it looks better dark.
Don't you?

It is amazing what impact that little change makes. Gives me ideas for my doors...
What color did you use?
Looove it! looks so much better.
Yes, I agree it looks better now!
Love it!
I LOVE the dark color on the door!! Seriously, I NEED you to come to my house and decorate it!! You have the BEST eye for interior decorating!!
Black paint is not just wonderful to use on French doors. You could see a lot of panel and bifold doors painted with black as well. I guess it’s a trend these days as it looks sophisticated. If you used to have a lighter shade of color for your door, it’s time to try a different one, as this will give your door a refreshing look.

Oh! I'm totally digging your new door! Black works well with the whole house rather than white. Everything seems to blend well now than before. I really love what you did here! You have an eye for interior decorating! :)

The color black is perfect for everything. Not only does it blend well with other surroundings, but it also emphasizes a certain classy and elegant aesthetic. It's a good thing that you've decided to coat that door with something that can match well with everything.- Francisco
